About

The longer short version.

Who

I’m Jakob. I build hard things in Barcelona: a cargo-drone company called Grasshopper Air Mobility, AI products on the side, and whatever experiment currently has me hooked.

The pattern underneath is physical systems. Before founding, I spent four years putting software into automated warehouses across Europe. The drones came from a question I couldn’t put down (why don’t flying cars exist yet?), and in 2023 the question turned into a company.

Along the way, AI became my second team. I ship my own tools with Claude Code and Codex: research, financial models, entire products. Right now I’m curious about the capital side of deep tech, where helping builders scales past one company at a time.

Off the laptop: I’ve lived, studied or worked in seven countries, starting with an exchange year in Texas at sixteen. I speak German, English and Spanish, plus enough Catalan to order well. Chess, football, calisthenics.

If any of this overlaps with what you’re building: say hi. The coffee offer is real.
