Barcelona Tycoon

One of my favourite computer games in 2001 was Monopoly Tycoon. You built shops and watched tiny customers choose where to spend. I still think about it.

Barcelona Tycoon is that fantasy rebuilt around my city, in its real streets and its real commercial life. You start with limited capital and a foothold in a single block. From there you develop properties, run the businesses inside them, set prices and quality, and watch the neighbourhood decide whether to walk in or walk past.

The game runs from 19 March 1882 to 10 June 2026, and Barcelona is built around you in the order it was really built.
